
Detectives are investigating an incident where a middle-aged man was fatally stabbed in a robbery mission in Sunton, Kasarani, Nairobi.
Police said John Ndambuki was attacked at Cieko on Wednesday night by assailants who escaped the scene.
The deceased was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead on arrival. The body had two stab wounds in the neck and left shoulder blade.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending postmortem. No arrest has been made so far and efforts to get the killers are ongoing.
In Mugutha, Juja, Kiambu county, the body of a man was found lying on the roadside with no visible injuries.
Police said the victim was later identified as Christopher Kamau, 41.

And a postmortem on the body of a minor whose body was found in a pit latrine confirmed she died out of asphyxia secondary to smothering.
Police said they are pursuing the killer.
In Khwisero, Kakamega county, the body of a 34-year-old man was found on the roadside after a suspected murder.
Shadrack Okutoyi’s body was discovered on Wednesday in Eshiangwe village.
Police said the body had deep cuts on the dace and back of the head when it was found.
The motive of the murder was not immediately established.
Police believe he was robbed of his motorcycle before he was killed. Residents said he was a boda boda rider.
Such murder incidents and robberies have been on the rise in separate parts of the country.
Police advise the riders to cooperate with their attackers.
Elsewhere in Isulu, Kakamega county, a miner died in a gold mining tunnel in an incident.
Police said Joseph Omollo, 30, had ventured into a tunnel at the site when he suffocated and died on March 11.
He had been using an electric power supply of oxygen to the tunnel when it went off due to a power blackout, his colleagues said.
He did not realise and later suffocated and died. The body was moved to the mortuary pending other procedures, police said.
Such deaths have been on the rise at gold mining sites amid efforts to address the menace.
