Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga has called on voters to back a five-piece vote for the ODM party in the next elections.

The ODM national chairperson was addressing the ODM Linda Ground Special Edition at Melelo in Narok County on Saturday.

Governor Wanga insisted that the positions of MCA, MP, woman representative, senator, and governor should all be voted for under the ODM party ticket. She also said the party was targeting the deputy president position.

The statement was echoed by Junet Mohamed, who said the party would not leave any of its seats for the United Democratic Alliance.

The clamour for the deputy president position by the Orange Democratic Movement under the “Tunataka Power” slogan has unsettled some leaders in the ruling party and their supporters, who believe the demand for the position could affect his political ambitions.
