Kisii Rugby has vowed to end the unbeaten streak of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) Cougars in the KRU Championship, with the clash set for Cardinal Otunga High School, Mosocho.
Assistant coach George Sagini said Kisii are determined not only to stop JKUAT but also to maintain their own unbeaten record at home.
"When the season began, we had our targets to seal a playoff slot and remain unbeaten at home," said Sagini.
With just three games left in the regular season, Kisii remain on course to achieve those goals. After facing JKUAT, they will travel to Nairobi for a penultimate fixture against Zetech University Oaks, before concluding their campaign against Catholic University of East Africa's Catholic Monks.

Sagini stressed that preparation for the JKUAT clash has focused on countering the visitors’ powerful forwards.
"Their big and tall forwards are a real threat, but we have trained on how to contain them," said the former Kisii RFC captain.
He added that defensive solidity and better communication will be key.
"We lost last weekend's game against Homeboyz due to mistakes in our defence, which gifted them two easy tries. We want the boys to play basic rugby, enjoy themselves, and win," Sagini noted.
JKUAT coach Smith Muhoya, however, remains confident his side can extend their unbeaten run.
"I know they are unbeaten at home. My boys are not going to be distracted by any sideshows. I hope the weather will be favourable," Muhoya said.
He added: "Kisii has good kickers. We have to play in their territory, and our defence must be on point."
Elsewhere in the KRU Championship, Mwamba RFC will aim to revive their campaign when they host strugglers Zetech University Oaks at Goan Institute in Nairobi, while Catholic Monks travel to Mombasa for a challenging tie against South Coast Pirates at Seacrest School in Diani.
Playoff-chasing National Youth Service (NYS) Spades host former Kenya Cup side Mombasa RFC, with a win guaranteeing them a playoff slot.
Relegation-threatened USIU-Martials welcome University of Nairobi's Mean Machine, seeking crucial points to avoid the drop, while bottom-of-the-table Western Bulls will host Homeboyz at the Bull Ring in Kakamega.
