Woman in Viral Church Encounter With Russian Man Comes Clean on What Happened During Airbnb Meeting

A Kenyan woman who recently went viral after being filmed leaving a church with a foreign man believed to be Russian has now spoken out, sharing her side of the story and insisting that no intimate encounter took place.

The woman, identified as Caro Wairimu, also known as Nimo, addressed the controversy during an interview on the YouTube channel run by content creator 2Mbili. In the interview, she said she wanted to clarify what happened after the video of their interaction sparked heated reactions on social media.

How the Encounter Began

According to Nimo, she first met the foreign man while attending a church service in Roysambu, Nairobi. She said the man approached her and a group of friends while they were seated inside the church.

Although the meeting happened in a religious setting, she claimed that his intentions later appeared to change when they left the church.

Visit to an Airbnb

Nimo recounted that they later went to a nearby Airbnb. She alleged that shortly after arriving, the man removed his clothes and attempted to persuade her to become intimate with him.

“He tried to put me in the mood,” she said in the interview.

She added that the man suggested they take a shower together, but she declined the request and insisted she would bathe separately.

The mother of one maintained that although she saw the man unclothed, nothing physical happened between them.

“I want to make it clear that we did not reach the point of having physical intimacy,” she explained, stressing that she rejected his advances.

Conversation After the Incident

Nimo said the situation created tension between them. According to her, they later left the apartment and went to a shopping mall where they bought pizza.

After that outing, she claimed the man stopped communicating with her for two days.

She said he later accused her of being interested only in money, while she responded by telling him he seemed to be focused only on sex. The disagreement eventually led them to part ways.

Another Perspective Emerges

Her account differs from remarks made by Kenyan content creator Miss Choice, who previously spoke about her own encounter with the same man.

During an interview on Radio Jambo’s Bustani La Masawe show, Miss Choice explained that she first met him at the airport while preparing to travel to Mombasa for a holiday.

According to her, the meeting happened unexpectedly while she was passing time at the airport.

She said the man introduced himself as a streamer and mentioned that he regularly records the activities he does with people he spends time with.

Miss Choice also claimed he suggested they spend time together that evening and even proposed travelling on a later flight, promising to cover the cost.

Relationship Claims

Despite the unusual circumstances of their meeting, Miss Choice said their connection developed gradually and that she eventually considered him her boyfriend.

She explained that relationships sometimes grow from chance encounters, noting that someone who is initially a stranger can later become a friend and eventually a romantic partner.
