Advertised roles span hospitality, senior university administration and ICT.Three public institutions — Kenyatta University, Multimedia University of Kenya and the Teachers Service Commission — have announced multiple vacancies, inviting qualified Kenyans to apply for academic, administrative, technical and hospitality positions ahead of March deadlines.
At Kenyatta University, vacancies have been declared at the North Coast Beach Hotel for seven positions.
The university is seeking to recruit a Personnel/Administrative Assistant, Front Office Cashier, Housekeeping Floor Supervisor, Laundry Machine Operator, Laundry Attendant, Public Area Attendant and Chef De Partie.
The terms of service include a basic salary and house allowance.
Applicants are required to provide full details of their educational and professional qualifications, work experience, present post and salary, telephone number and email address.
Copies of certificates and testimonials must be enclosed, alongside the names and addresses of three referees conversant with the applicant’s competence in the area of specialisation.
Applications and referees’ letters should be addressed directly to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration and Finance), Kenyatta University, P.O. Box 43844-00100, Nairobi.
All applications and letters from referees must be received not later than March, 12, 2026.

MULTIMEDIA UNIVERSITY
Meanwhile, Multimedia University of Kenya, a chartered public university located about 25 kilometres south of Nairobi along Magadi Road, has advertised one vacancy each in six senior positions.
These include Registrar Administration and Planning (Re-advertisement) at Grade MNT 15, Registrar Academic Affairs at Grade MNT 15, Principal Procurement Officer at Grade MNT 14, Senior Internal Auditor at Grade MNT 13, Senior Legal Officer (Re-advertisement) at Grade MNT 13 and University Chaplain at Grade MNT 12.
The university has directed prospective applicants to access detailed qualifications, application procedures, rules and regulations on its website, http://www.mmu.ac.ke.
The advertised positions carry competitive remuneration packages that include basic salary, medical cover, house, transport and leave allowances.
Applications quoting the respective reference numbers on the envelope should be submitted to the Vice Chancellor, Multimedia University of Kenya, P.O. Box 15653-00503, Nairobi, and must reach the office on or before March, 18, 2026.

TSC
The Teachers Service Commission has also announced four vacancies across its ICT and fleet management departments.
TSC is an independent constitutional commission responsible for the registration, recruitment, employment, assignment, promotion and disciplining of teachers in public schools and institutions.
It also manages teacher payroll, reviews education standards and formulates policies to ensure professional development and ethical conduct.
The commission is seeking to fill one position for Principal Officer ICT – Systems Developer at TSC Grade 7, two positions for Principal Officer ICT – Information Security Administrator at TSC Grade 7, one position for Principal Officer – Fleet Management at TSC Grade 7 and one position for Officer I – Fleet Management at TSC Grade 9.
Interested and qualified candidates have been directed to visit the commission’s website, www.tsc.go.ke, for full job descriptions and specifications and to submit their applications online.
Applications must be submitted not later than 11:59 pm on March 09, 2026.
The commission has reiterated that it does not charge any application, processing, interviewing or other recruitment fees at any stage and warned that presenting fake certificates or including incorrect information in an application constitutes a criminal offence.
