President William Ruto addresses Methodist Church leaders at State House, Nairobi on February 20 /PCS
President William Ruto has hosted leaders from the Methodist Church at State House, Nairobi, where he reaffirmed the government’s partnership with the church in serving Kenyans.
The President thanked the clergy for taking time from their busy schedules to fellowship with him, noting that both the church and the state share a common responsibility to serve the people.
“As a church we have a common goal just as the government to serve the people of Kenya and I want to reaffirm to you that our partnership will continue to grow,” he said.
Ruto acknowledged the church’s role in building reputable leaders and mentoring them into responsible citizens who contribute positively to the country’s development.
He cited various programmes launched under his administration such as Affordable Housing and promised to continue working towards the growth of the nation.
