Kenya Red Cross said there were no fatalities, but six people sustained
injuries during the collapse.
The six were successfully rescued from the rubble and
promptly handed over to St. John’s Ambulance personnel, who immediately
transported them to Kenyatta National Hospital for specialised medical
treatment.

“Following the initial rescue, Nairobi County’s Fire and Emergency
response team on-site, to ensure no individuals remained trapped, conducted a
secondary thorough search,” Kenya Red Cross said.
It added that all 18 workers present at the site during the
incident have been accounted for and the site has been officially handed over to the OCPD
Central for cordoning and to initiate a formal investigation into the cause of
the collapse.
