Maluki said the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) outlines the role of the Olympafrica centre in offering structured access to sport for young people. He noted that the initiative aligns with
national priorities on youth empowerment, education and sports development.
“We appreciate Koitalel University College for its commitment to holistic education and youth development,” he said, adding that the project will help strengthen the community through sport and learning.
Koitalel University College principal Prof. Winston Jumba welcomed the partnership, saying it would boost sports development in the country.
“We are happy to partner and promote sports development in our country and walk with you on this journey as we change sports from leisure into an industry,” said Jumba.
The Olympafrica centres are part of a global Olympic movement programme that promotes sport, education, and life skills among young people.
