President Ruto has officially opened the Africa Inland Church Pipeline in Embakasi, Nairobi County.

During the event, Ruto committed Sh1 million for the church choir and appreciated the clergy's discipline and organisation.

"In 2020-2021, this church was like a village. This church was made of iron sheets. I am so happy because these Christians have honoured me with the opportunity to open this church. You did the hardest part of building and then gave me the simple task of opening it. I want to congratulate you and pray that God blesses your prayers and jobs," Ruto said.

He pledged support towards any requirement the church might need.

The president admitted that he was impressed by how the AIC church choir sang in their new uniform, reportedly bought by Governor Johnson Sakaja.

Ruto vowed to support the singers with another set of uniforms, but with a light condition.

“I will give your leader Sh1 million. Ensure that there is a yellow print somewhere at the corner. Do not overthink; yellow and green are our colours in Ukambani.”
