The President said Kenya and Germany share a common position on the need for a rule-based global order and reforms to make the United Nations “fit-for-purpose” in serving the interests of all nations, especially those from the Global South.

On regional security, President Ruto said Kenya counts on Germany’s support in efforts to promote peace and stability in the Horn of Africa, with particular attention to the crisis in Sudan.
