Diamond Platnumz’s Mother and Sister Speak Out Over Manager Mkubwa Fella’s Medical Bills

Diamond Platnumz’s family has stepped into the public spotlight to defend the singer following renewed claims surrounding the medical care of his ailing former manager, Mkubwa Fella.

After days of online debate and conflicting accounts from Mkubwa Fella’s family and Diamond’s camp, the singer’s mother, Mama Dangote, has broken her silence with an emotional post on Instagram, strongly defending her son’s actions.

Mama Dangote Speaks Out

In her statement, Mama Dangote said she was the first person contacted when Mkubwa Fella fell ill, explaining that Diamond was out of the country at the time.

She revealed that upon receiving the distress call, she immediately got involved and kept her son informed.

According to Mama Dangote, when she contacted Diamond about the situation, he asked whether money had already been sent and instructed that financial assistance be given to Mkubwa Fella’s wife immediately.

She stated that five million Tanzanian shillings were sent on the very first day before Mkubwa Fella was transferred to TMJ Hospital and later flown to India for further treatment.

She went on to call for gratitude, urging people to appreciate those who step in to help during difficult moments. In her words, she prayed that God would repay Diamond for everything he had done, while appealing for fairness and thankfulness from those receiving help.

Diamond Platnumz’s sister, Esma, also took to Instagram to publicly support her brother. In her message, she encouraged Diamond not to lose heart or feel discouraged about helping others, expressing confidence that God would reward his generosity.

Echoing Mama Dangote’s sentiments, she called on the public to recognise and appreciate acts of kindness, especially when someone goes out of their way to assist in another person’s personal struggles.

These claims were earlier disputed by Diamond’s manager Don Fumbwe, who detailed the singer’s alleged financial involvement in both local and international medical treatment.
