Kenyans are set to benefit following the near completion of the construction of Ngong Road-Naivasha Road flyover at Junction Mall in Nairobi.
Construction workers at the site were seen erecting steel structures as traffic flowed beneath the project.
The infrastructure project is set to alleviate the long-standing traffic congestion that has plagued the area, bringing significant improvements to Nairobi’s urban transport system.

Funded by a concessional loan of Sh3.58 billion (EUR 25.3 million) from the Spanish Corporate International Fund (FIEM), the project is expected to be completed by July 2027.
The initiative is in line with the government’s ongoing efforts to bolster infrastructure, which is pivotal for stimulating long-term economic growth and enhancing mobility within urban areas.
Safety will be prioritised through the addition of Non-Motorised Transport (NMT) facilities, ensuring safe passage for cyclists and pedestrians.
