The International Police Association (IPA) Kenya Section, in partnership with the IPA Germany Section, closed out 2025 with acts of compassion and service, bringing smiles and festive cheer to vulnerable children in Nairobi.
Guided by its global mantra, Service Through Friendship, the association spent the day with children at the Children’s Garden Home and School in Uthiru, marking its second visit to the institution.
The return visit highlighted the enduring bonds of love and friendship first forged during a similar outreach last year, officials said.
The day unfolded in a warm and lively atmosphere as the children entertained guests with songs and dances, showcasing impressive talent, confidence, and creativity.
Their performances transformed the visit into a joyful celebration, leaving a lasting impression on members and visitors alike.
In addition to sharing moments of joy, the IPA team delivered essential food supplies and clothing donated by members of the IPA Kenya Section, led by President Jared Ojuok, alongside Daniel Lorch from the IPA Germany Section.
Ojuok expressed his satisfaction at the impact of the visit.
“This is the best thing one can do to help the less fortunate, and we are happy to be here. We will continue to help where we can,” he said.
Friends of the association, including Marietta Reformado and the Cutchi Gujarati Hindu Union Shiv Temple (CGHU), also contributed by donating clothes and diapers.
The combined generosity and presence of the partners played a key role in the success of the outreach, reinforcing the spirit of solidarity and care for the children.
Meanwhile, another team of IPA Kenya members extended similar support to the Cerebral Palsy Society of Kenya in a different part of Nairobi, donating diapers and clothing to support children living with special needs.
By dedicating the final day of the year to service, connection, and compassion, the IPA Kenya Section closed 2025 on a meaningful note—demonstrating that the true strength of the organisation lies in friendship and community service.
