The victim, identified as Dorothy Ochieng, reportedly touched a metal gate that was being welded at a site where a mabati kiosk was under construction.
She suffered an electric shock and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police confirmed that investigations into the incident have been launched, and the body has been taken to the mortuary pending an autopsy.
Elsewhere in Villa, Embakasi, a 23-year-old man collapsed and died after alighting from a matatu.
The victim, identified as Collins Wamaitha, had previously visited Mbagathi Hospital with complaints of chest pain.
After being treated and discharged, he boarded a matatu with his neighbour.
Upon alighting at Bakhita bus stop, he collapsed and died.
Police reported that he had been allegedly assaulted by unidentified individuals on December 28.
The body has been moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy, and investigations are ongoing.
In Kapenguria, West Pokot County, a 25-year-old man was killed during a land dispute.
The deceased, identified as Danson Krop, was found in the family compound with injuries to the head.
Police reported that he had quarrelled with his elder brother before the incident, and a blood-stained jembe was recovered at the scene.
The elder brother has been arrested and is expected to be arraigned in court, while the body has been moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy.
In another incident, a suspected robber was killed by a mob along Menelik and Kilimani Road junction in Nairobi.
The man was reportedly riding a motorcycle and allegedly snatched a mobile phone from a pedestrian.
An alarm was raised, and a mob confronted him, resulting in his death before police arrived.
Two other individuals who were on the motorcycle reportedly escaped on foot.
Police condemned the lynching, describing it as a criminal act.
