Tanzanian music star Harmonize — born Rajab Abdulkahali Ibrahim and affectionately known as Konde Boy — has once again captured headlines, this time for reuniting with his former lover Fridah Kajala, a celebrated Bongo movie actress.
The much-talked-about reunion occurred in Zanzibar, where Harmonize was performing at a high-profile concert.
Passionate moments between the two sparked massive social media attention, reigniting discussions about their years-long, on-and-off relationship.
Their journey together has been dramatic and deeply personal, weaving together romance, public displays of affection, intense breakups, and grand gestures.

The pair first made waves when they went public with their relationship in early 2021, shortly after Harmonize’s split from his Italian wife, Sarah Michelotti. At that time, Harmonize proudly introduced Kajala to fans and even gifted her lavish presents and public declarations of love.
The relationship, while celebrated by fans, was far from smooth. Over the years, Harmonize and Kajala experienced multiple breakups and makeups, often splashed across social media and entertainment news.
In mid-2022, Harmonize even went down on one knee to propose to Kajala at a private event, with friends and family in attendance — marking what many thought was a decisive moment in their love story. She accepted the proposal then, adding another memorable chapter to their romantic saga.
Despite that proposal and their reconnection, the couple parted ways again in December 2022, with Kajala announcing the breakup to her followers and publicly expressing reflection on her choices.

However, the Zanzibar reunion has flung their relationship back into the spotlight. Onlookers say the pair were seen travelling together after the concert, fuelling widespread speculation that Harmonize is not just enjoying a holiday with Kajala, but is preparing to propose to her again.
If true, this would mark the second time the Konde Gang President has sought Kajala’s hand in marriage, a testament to the enduring, if turbulent, connection between them.
Fans and observers are watching closely as Harmonize balances his thriving music career — having established Konde Music Worldwide after departing WCB Wasafi — with very public matters of the heart.
Whether this latest chapter leads to a lasting union or another passionate interlude remains to be seen, but one thing is clear: Harmonize and Kajala’s story continues to resonate with fans across East Africa and beyond.
