Jacque Maribe Breaks Silence on Burial Plans for Late Father

Jacque Maribe has announced the burial arrangements for her late father, Mr. Maribe Mwangi, who passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025, after a long illness.

In a family statement shared publicly, Jacque described her father as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, in-law, friend, Mheshimiwa and patron.

The statement noted that Mr. Maribe had been unwell for a long period and had been in and out of hospital, a situation that placed significant emotional and financial strain on the family.

According to the announcement, Mr. Maribe will be laid to rest on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at his rural home in Gathaithi Village.

Ahead of the burial, a memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2025, starting at 10:00 a.m. at Worldwide Gospel Church in Buruburu, along Rabai Road next to Rubis Petrol Station.

The family also shared details of ongoing burial planning meetings. Daily meetings are being held at his home in Buruburu Phase 4, Eregero Court, House Number 117.

Additional meetings are taking place at Castle Garden every day from December 26, starting at 5:00 p.m., as well as at the family’s rural home in Gathaithi Village.

As they prepare to accord him a dignified send-off, the family has humbly appealed to friends, relatives and well-wishers for prayers and financial support.

He passed on peacefully on 22nd December 2025, after a long illness bravely borne.

We plan to lay him to rest on Wednesday, 31st December 2025, at his home in Gathaithi Village.
