Raila Jnr on Thursday joined residents of Seme West in Kisumu County for the annual JIMO Seme West COIN-10 Football Tournament, where he was the chief guest.

In a message shared after the event, Raila Jnr thanked writer and commentator Gabriel Oguda for inviting him, noting that the tournament had succeeded in bringing the community together during the festive season.

“A big thank you to Gabriel Oguda for inviting me as Chief Guest to the JIMO Seme West 2025 COIN-10 Football Tournament! We had an amazing time connecting with the community,” he said.

He also extended his best wishes to the organisers as they continue their sensitisation campaign around the COIN-10 ten-point agenda, applauding their efforts to empower local youth.

 “Best wishes on your sensitisation campaign for the 10-point agenda—keep up the great work!” he added.

The tournament ended with Reru FC lifting the trophy after an energetic final that drew cheers from hundreds of supporters.

The event, held on Christmas Day, doubled as a celebration of sport, unity and youth development in the region.
