President William Ruto on Thursday drove himself to PEFA Ikarian Cathedral in Kilgoris, Narok county, where he attended a Christmas Day church service alongside First Lady Mama Rachel Ruto.

After the service, the First Family interacted with congregants before the President got behind the wheel and drove off.

Earlier in the day, Ruto conveyed Christmas wishes to Kenyans, extending festive greetings to families across the country through a video message.

“Wakenya, 2025, we clocked it. I wish you a Merry Christmas and a great and blessed 2026. Na kule barabarani, let’s drive carefully and avoid unnecessary losses. Otherwise, nawapenda sana. Mungu awabariki. Nawa penda jameni,” he said.

The President also shared a joint Christmas message with the First Lady, calling for unity, peace and togetherness during the festive season.

“May the birth of Christ bring hope, joy and peace to your home. As we celebrate, let us cherish one another and the blessings that unite us as one nation,” the message read.

Mama Rachel added: "May this season renew our faith, strengthen our families and inspire us to extend compassion to the vulnerable among us.
