
Key road agencies have opened recruitment for a combined total of 458 positions across leadership, technical and support roles.
The vacancies cover the Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA), Kenya Roads Board (KRB) and Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA).
The Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA), a state corporation under the Ministry of Roads and Transport, is recruiting for 290 positions across Grades 4 to 11.
The roles include engineers, accountants, internal auditors, human resource officers, surveyors, drivers, ICT officers, and other professional and technical positions.
In addition, KeRRA is seeking applications for 18 senior management positions.
These include Director-General and Director Internal Audit, with a contract for three years, each.
Other positions are those of Deputy Directors in Roads, Planning, Legal Affairs, Survey, Administration, Supply Chain Management, Enterprise Risk Management, and Research & Innovation.
Permanent and pensionable terms of service apply for most Deputy Director positions.

The applications should be accompanied by a signed application letter, curriculum vitae, copies of academic and professional certificates, and national identity cards.
Applicants must meet the Leadership and Integrity requirements under Chapter Six of the Constitution.
They must present clearance certificates from the Kenya Revenue Authority, Higher Education Loans Board, Directorate of Criminal Investigations, Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission, and Credit Reference Bureau before an offer letter is issued.

The Kenya Roads Board (KRB) is recruiting a Director-General.
The DG is responsible for strategic leadership and overall management of the Board, including administration of the Road Fund, oversight of road maintenance and development.
The office holder is also incharge of the implementation of the Road Sector Investment Programme (RSIP) and advising the Cabinet Secretary on road sector matters.
Applicants must have at least 10 years’ relevant experience, five years in senior management and meet professional and educational requirements.

The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) is inviting applications for three positions.
These include Director-General, Deputy Director Legal and Board Services, and Assistant Director Land Valuation and Administration.

Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews.
