Mama Adalola, who shares a child with YouTuber Oga Obinna, has publicly applauded comedian Mulamwah and his former partner Carrol Sonie after the two appeared to put their differences aside for the sake of their daughter.
Mulamwah and Carrol sparked widespread discussion online after sharing snippets from a day they spent together with their daughter, Keilah.
The clips showed the former couple engaging in leisure activities and focusing on their child’s happiness, a noticeable shift from their previously strained relationship.
Many social media users welcomed the move, praising the pair for prioritising their daughter’s emotional wellbeing.
A Co-Parenting Shift That Caught Attention
Carrol has previously revealed that her relationship with Mulamwah ended shortly after Keilah’s birth.
Mulamwah later clarified that the separation had happened earlier in the pregnancy but was only made public after their daughter was born, citing disagreements and unmet expectations as reasons for the breakup.
The recent reunion, however, suggested a calmer co-parenting dynamic, with both parents appearing present and engaged during their time with their child.
Mama Adalola Shares Her Candid Reaction
Reacting to the moment, Mama Adalola described it as one of the most heartwarming things she had seen this year. “This is the best thing I’ve watched this year,” she wrote.
She then humorously contrasted the scene with her own situation, poking fun at couples who remain in constant conflict with their baby daddies.
Mama Adalola admitted that her co-parenting relationship with Obinna has not been easy, noting that while they often exchange harsh words, she believes things may eventually calm down.

She also addressed people who frequently urge her to “heal and move on,” joking about being advised to boil and drink herbal remedies.
Returning to Mulamwah and Carrol, she said she was particularly moved by how happy Keilah looked seeing both parents together.
Mixed Reactions From Kenyans Online
Mama Adalola’s comments triggered a wave of reactions on social media. Some users encouraged her to prioritise peace of mind and move forward, while others suggested that frequent arguments can sometimes reflect unresolved emotions.
Several commenters, however, acknowledged that her children are loved and supported, pointing out that many co-parenting arrangements fail to achieve even that.

Obinna Opens Up on Co-Parenting Challenges
Earlier in November 2025, Obinna spoke openly about the realities of co-parenting during an appearance on the Mic Cheque Podcast.
He noted that shared parenting is rarely smooth unless both parties are willing to communicate and compromise.
“Co-parenting is never easy. Unless you have an understanding baby mama, drama haishangi,” he said, emphasising the importance of maturity and open communication.

Lessons From Experience
Drawing from his own experiences, Obinna explained that disagreements often stem from clashing schedules, different parenting styles and unresolved emotions from past relationships.
He stressed that he avoids forceful confrontations and prefers dialogue when it comes to accessing his children.
He also criticised the practice of using children as bargaining tools during disputes, saying it only creates unnecessary conflict.
Putting Children First
Obinna concluded by encouraging parents in similar situations to prioritise their children’s happiness over personal grievances.
According to him, successful co-parenting is not about being perfect but about consistency, respect and doing what is best for the children, regardless of past issues or relationship status.
