The Public Service Commission (PSC) has invited Kenyans to apply for more than 800 job vacancies across ministries, state departments and government agencies.
In a notice published on Tuesday, the Commission said the vacancies cut across senior leadership roles, mid-level promotional positions and entry-level opportunities in various sectors.
This is including trade, foreign service, human resource management, lands, social development and public administration.
According to the PSC, details of the posts, qualifications and application procedures are available on its official website www.publicservice.go.ke and the jobs portal www.psckjobs.go.ke.
All applications must be submitted online and received by 5pm, on January 9, 2026.
At the Kenya Trade Remedies Agency (KETRA), the Commission is seeking to fill one vacancy at the office of the chairperson.
PSC also called for applications for promotional positions targeted at serving officers and qualified professionals at senior and middle management levels.
These include Secretary, Government Delivery Unit (Executive Office of the President), Secretary, Economic Planning (4), Secretary, Technical, Vocational Education and Training (2), Secretary, Youth Development, Secretary, Human Resource Management, Secretary, Human Resource Development.
Others are Secretary, Public Sector Reforms, Secretary, Psychological Counselling and Wellness Services, Secretary, Human Resource Information Services, Secretary, Regional Development, Secretary, Social Development.
PSC is also looking to promote employees to the positions of Director, Foreign Service/Minister II (37, Deputy Director, Foreign Service / Minister Counsellor (26), Assistant Director, Foreign Service / Counsellor (23), Director, Domestic Trade, Assistant Director, Investment Promotion (2).
Other positons include those of a Chief Engineer, Materials (Roads), Director, Meteorological Services, Deputy Director, Climate Change (Mitigation), Director, Office Administrative Services, Deputy Director, Human Resource Management and Development (40), Deputy Director, Human Resource Information Services (3), Assistant Director, Human Resource Management and Development (58), Director, Physical Planning, Deputy Director, Regional Development and Deputy Director, Strategic Programmes.
Assistant Director, Regional Development (2), Director, Social Development (3), Deputy Director, Social Development (2), Director, Children Services (4), Deputy Director, Children Services (10), Assistant Director, Children Services (14).
The Commission has also advertised several entry-level and support staff positions across different grades.
These are Administration Officer II (2), Human Resource Management and Development Officer II (24), Compliance Audit Officer II (4), Ethics and Values Officer II (6), Accountant II (2), Internal Auditor II (3), Records Management Officer II (3), Land Information Officer II (20), Lands Records Management Assistant III (55).
ICT Officer II (4), Research Officer II, Policy Analyst II (2), Supply Chain Management Officer II, Assistant Supply Chain Management Officer, Assistant Public Communication Officer III (2), Driver II (3), Devolution Officer II (3), Clerical Officer II (300), Office Assistant III (Senior Support Staff) (150).
The PSC cautioned applicants against fraudsters, noting that the Commission does not charge any fees for job applications, shortlisting, interviews or appointments.
The vacancies are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen service delivery across government institutions.
