Influencer and media personality Maureen Waititu has issued a public statement after facing targeted online harassment from an anonymous social media user.
In an Instagram post, Waititu declared she is “done playing nice with this particular person,” adding that she intends to use “every resource within my power and capability to smoke you out and bring you to justice.”
The harassment appears to originate from a pseudo-account identified as @nancy_555202, which has no posts or followers. According to Waititu, the account has repeatedly sent abusive messages to her, escalating to attacks directed at her children.
Screenshots Reveal Escalating Harassment
Waititu shared screenshots of the messages, which include insults, personal allegations, and comments referencing her past relationship.
One message accused her of being “a bitter ex,” while another claimed she “attempted to unalive [herself] as a bait to get Frank back.”
The situation intensified when the account began making derogatory remarks about her sons. In her response, Waititu wrote:
“Leave my children out of your twisted and sick mind. You are sick, obsessed and a coward to be insulting children!!!!”
She added that the individual is “a danger to the society” and vowed to take action to ensure “they are stopped.”
Public Appeal for Leads
In the same statement, Waititu suggested that the person behind the harassment may be following her posts from another profile, writing:
“I have blocked you but I know you are here watching and reading with your real account.”
She appealed to her followers for assistance in identifying the individual, stating:
“Guys, I’m open to any leads or contacts I can use to smoke out this person.”

Describing the experience as “the worst kind of cyber bullying and harassment,” Waititu emphasised her determination to protect her family.
“For my kids, I’m riding at dawn. I’ll make sure you never get to do this to another person or innocent children.”

Highlighting her personal growth, she reminded audiences that attacks based on past events are irrelevant to her current life, and used the opportunity to raise awareness about online harassment, emphasizing that victims should know they are not alone.
