
The Warehouse Receipt System Council (WRSC), a state corporation under the Ministry of Investments, Trade and Industrialisation, has announced 28 job openings across various positions.
The council, established under the Warehouse Receipt System Act No. 8 of 2019, is tasked with developing and regulating a warehouse receipt system for agricultural commodities in Kenya.
The advertised positions range from senior management to entry-level roles, including one Chief Executive Officer/Registrar, one Principal Accountant, one Principal Auditor, and several senior officers in planning, supply chain management, legal affairs, compliance, human resources, and administration.
Other vacancies include certification and capacity building officers, registration officers, ICT officers, investment promotion officers, internal auditors, accountants, communications officers, drivers, and an office assistant.
According to the WRSC, all positions have specific job grades and references, with multiple driver positions available. The council is calling for applications from qualified and experienced individuals who meet the required standards.

Applicants are required to submit a cover letter, a detailed curriculum vitae with daytime contacts and email address, current and expected remuneration, and the names and contacts of three referees.
Copies of academic and professional certificates, valid licenses, membership in professional institutions, a national ID or passport, and valid clearance certificates in line with Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010, must also be included.

The deadline for submission of applications is 5:00 p.m. on December 15, 2025.
WRSC emphasized that it is an equal opportunity employer and encourages applications from persons living with disabilities, women, and individuals from marginalised areas who meet the job requirements.
The council warned that canvassing will result in automatic disqualification and noted that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
The council also clarified that it does not charge any fees at any stage of the recruitment process.
The latest recruitment drive comes as WRSC continues to strengthen its workforce to effectively manage the warehouse receipt system, a critical initiative designed to enhance the storage, trade, and transparency of agricultural commodities in Kenya.
