President William Ruto arrived at State House, Nairobi, Saturday evening, dressed in full Maasai regalia after attending the Maa Cultural Festival in Kajiado.
Ruto, who was the chief guest during the event, had also presided over the landmark handover of Amboseli National Park to the Maasai community.
The colourful 'homecoming' capped a day that celebrated culture, conservation, and devolution.
He was accompanied by Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and Samburu Governor Lati Lelelit.
Ruto was clad in full regalia, featuring a bright red shúkà draped elegantly over his shoulder, complemented by intricately beaded jewellery.
He also wore a beaded belt and sandals, completing the traditional look often associated with Maasai elders and warriors.
