NTV Kenya has officially unveiled a new entertainment show, Friday Night Rave, set to light up Kenyan screens every Friday from 10 PM to midnight.
The show will be hosted by two of the country’s rising media personalities — Claudia Naisabwa and Brian Aseli, who are already well-known for their dynamic on-air chemistry on Nation FM.
Friday Night Rave promises to deliver high-energy entertainment, unfiltered conversations, celebrity interviews, and the freshest trends in music and lifestyle — marking a vibrant new era for NTV’s late-night entertainment slot.

Friday Night Rave takes over the slot previously occupied by NTV’s The Trend, which was hosted by Amina Abdi Rabar until her departure in September 2025.
Amina took over the show from Larry Madowo in 2017, maintaining its reputation as one of Kenya’s most-watched Friday night entertainment programs.
Her final appearance on The Trend aired on September 5, when she emotionally bid farewell to viewers and her Trending Talk (TTTT) panelists.
“This is the last time I get to sign out on TTTT. My name is Amina Abdi Rabar. This was my last show,” she said, as her colleagues looked on in disbelief.
“I am not lying. Thank you so much to all for the love. Thanks to all of you for welcoming me into your homes. I appreciate it. Thank you to all the panellists and other hosts I have had here.”
Amina’s graceful exit left many fans nostalgic, but NTV seems ready to inject new life into the slot with Claudia and Aseli’s youthful and vibrant approach.
