Nigerian actress and social media influencer Regina Daniels has once again stirred online discussion after posting a series of emotional and explosive messages on her Instagram Stories.
The posts, which surfaced days after a viral video showing her visibly distressed, suggest growing turmoil in her marriage to Senator Ned Nwoko.
“Imagine the Police Beating Up My Brother”
In one of her statements, Regina alleged that members of her family were being targeted in connection with her ongoing dispute with the senator.
“Imagine the Nigerian police beating up my brother like a criminal. What exactly was the violent arrest for?” she wrote.
The actress added that her elder siblings had already been detained, and feared her younger sister could be arrested as well “until I return — and according to him, return to rehab.”
These remarks appear to be a direct response to Nwoko’s recent claims that his wife was battling drug addiction and required professional treatment.

Regina’s latest Instagram messages, however, paint a very different picture. In several emotional posts, she expressed anger and exhaustion, suggesting that her husband was using his influence and power against her family.

“Ned you have power, connections, and money, right? Wild for you to think I have none,” she wrote.
She further hinted at exposing details of their private life, saying:
“Don’t even get me started on what you did to me with your ‘STD’ and ‘rehab talk.’ You said I’m a drug addict — me, I use am rob body sir! But I will speak one day and tell the world everything.”
Regina described herself as “trying to be the bigger person” but admitted feeling overwhelmed:
“Someone please help me! I feel like I’m losing my mind.”
Emotional Fallout and Public Reaction
The actress concluded her messages on a note of heartbreak, lamenting the possible destruction of what she described as “the beautiful but short legacy” she and Nwoko built together.
“It’s so embarrassing! Hard girl like me crying. I just hate this feeling of wishing my boys’ father’s name remains a legacy,” she said.
As the online drama unfolds, neither party has announced formal legal action. However, Regina’s emotional posts have reignited conversations about power dynamics, celebrity marriages, and mental health in Nigeria’s entertainment industry.
A Public Marriage Crisis
The controversy began after a viral video emerged last week showing Regina tearfully expressing her frustration, saying, “In my house, I am a queen, but in Ned’s house, I am nothing.”
The footage quickly gained traction across TikTok and Instagram, sparking conversations about domestic abuse, mental health, and women’s rights in high-profile marriages.
Following the uproar, Senator Nwoko, who is also a businessman and lawyer, released a statement strongly denying allegations of physical violence. Instead, he accused Regina of substance abuse, saying her “current battle with drugs and alcohol” was the root of their marital problems.
“She must continue her rehabilitation program, or I fear for her life and safety,” Nwoko said, adding that he had offered her treatment options both locally and abroad.
He also claimed Regina had recently exhibited violent behavior, destroying property and attacking household staff.
