Eldoret came alive on Saturday night as the Tusker Oktobafest made a vibrant stop at Tamasha Lounge, transforming the town into a lively celebration of beer, music, and Kenyan culture.
The event, organized by Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL), follows a successful launch in Nairobi earlier this month and is part of a nationwide beer festival tour.
The Eldoret edition attracted hundreds of beer lovers who were treated to an immersive experience that blended local artistry, music, and the rich heritage of Kenya’s most iconic beer brand.
From beer cocktails and sampling booths to live performances and interactive activities, the festival offered a full sensory experience for revelers.
Tamasha Lounge was transformed into what organizers described as a “beertopia” — a colorful fusion of creativity, culture, and celebration.
Guests were welcomed by KBL brand ambassadors dressed in dazzling African-inspired outfits as they explored themed photo areas, took part in beer challenges, and won exclusive Oktobafest merchandise.
The night’s entertainment lineup brought unmatched energy to the festival.
MC Gudahman and his dance crew set the tone with an electrifying performance, followed by crowd-pleasing sets from Iyanii, whose popular hits had the audience singing along.
DJ Daqchild kept spirits high with a blend of Kenyan classics and club anthems before Mejja took the stage for a show-stopping finale that had the entire venue on its feet.
Speaking after the event, Brigid Wambu, Senior Brand Manager for Tusker, hailed the Eldoret crowd for their enthusiasm and cultural pride.
“We are delighted to share the Oktobafest experience with our consumers across the country. Eldoret has given us an incredible reception, showing us how beer and culture blend so beautifully here,” said Wambu.
“We look forward to bringing even richer experiences to other parts of the country throughout October, which is beer month.”
Building on the successful Nairobi and Eldoret editions, Tusker Oktobafest will now move to other regions in the coming weeks.
The Coast Edition will be held on October 18 at New Big Tree, Bamburi, followed by the Lake Edition on October 25 at Atella Beach Resort, Kisumu, and the Mountain Edition on November 1.
Tusker Oktobafest, now one of Kenya’s most anticipated cultural festivals, continues to celebrate not only Kenya’s beer heritage but also the country’s vibrant music, art, and youthful energy — uniting fans from all walks of life under the theme of beer and togetherness.
