Hundreds of small traders operating along Fig Tree in Nairobi's Ngara area are counting losses after their kiosks were demolished.

The demolition, said to have happened in the wee hours of the morning.

Traders led by James Mwangi, the chairperson of the business community, regretted the incident, stating that the area they have been operating in belongs to the Nairobi City County.
