Bishop Kathy Kiuna Announces Son Jeremy Is Getting Married

Jubilee Christian Church (JCC) co-founder Bishop Kathy Kiuna has joyfully revealed that her son, Jeremy Kiuna, is preparing to get married.

The announcement came during one of her sermons, where the celebrated preacher shared light-hearted stories about her three children and their experiences with love and relationships.

Kathy began by narrating how her eldest daughter, Vanessa Kiuna, had to teach her husband — who is of European descent — how to handle attention from Kenyan women.

“Some Kenyan women went and told him, ‘Oh, I love your eyes,’” she said, as the congregation laughed. “Vanessa told him, ‘Let me train you on what to tell them. You say, my wife loves them too.’ They even stopped him in traffic to compliment his eyes. But she had already covered him.”

She continued, “My second daughter is married to a wonderful man who was a best friend of Robert. And my son, Jeremy, my baby, the apple of my eye — he is getting married.”

Kathy, however, held back details about the bride-to-be, teasing the curious audience. “I can see the way you are waiting to see who it is. I will not introduce her today,” she said with a smile. “But yes, he is getting married, and we are so excited about that.”

The news quickly spread online, with fans and followers sending warm messages of congratulations. Social media users celebrated the announcement, with comments such as “God’s time is perfect” and “This boy is a testimony.”

Others expressed curiosity, with one user jokingly asking, “Kwani waliachana na Joy Ohon?” — referring to Jeremy’s rumoured past relationship.

From Loss Less Than a Year Ago to New Beginnings

Jeremy, 25, has been open about his personal journey and faith, particularly following the death of his father, Bishop Allan Kiuna, who passed away on Tuesday, 9 July 2024, after a long battle with cancer.

During a memorial service at Faith Evangelistic Ministry Family Church in Karen, Jeremy delivered an emotional tribute, expressing gratitude to his mother for her strength and love.

“I am so grateful that you are my mother,” he said. “He (Allan Kiuna) might have started everything, but you held everything together.”

He also reflected on his parents’ marriage, describing it as a godly example. “God has shown me what a woman is. There’s no day I saw them argue; they were so in love — not just with each other but with God,” he shared, before adding, “Guys, I’m single, by the way, so if there’s a wife that’s coming, I think about it this way...”

His remarks at the time suggested he was still single, making Kathy’s recent revelation about his upcoming marriage all the more heart-warming.

Past Relationships and Public Attention

Before this announcement, Jeremy had previously been linked to former Machachari actress Joy Ohon, with reports suggesting the two dated for about two years before parting ways.

In December 2024, Jeremy introduced a new girlfriend in a Christmas post that featured photos of his family members, sparking warm reactions from fans who congratulated him on moving forward.

He has also made headlines for his candid talk about relationships and money. In a past interview, he revealed that he once spent KSh 100,000 on a girlfriend, adding that the least he had ever spent was KSh 50,000 — comments that stirred mixed reactions online.
