Gospel minister Rozinah Mwakideu has broken her silence following the widespread reactions that trailed her recent interview with her brother, Alex Mwakideu, on his podcast.
The conversation, which revisited her past marriage to Robert Burale, sparked massive online debate and divided opinions among fans and fellow celebrities.
Shocked by the Attention
In a new video shared on her social media, Rozinah admitted that she was surprised by how much attention the interview received.

She said her intention was never to stir controversy or attack anyone but rather to share her personal journey of pain, healing, and growth.
“It was never about malice. I have healed and moved on. I believe Robert Burale has also moved on,” she stated calmly.
Rozinah explained that her goal was to inspire others who might be going through similar struggles in their marriages or personal lives, encouraging them to seek peace and emotional healing rather than revenge.
Online Debate
The interview had earlier caused a stir after Rozinah openly stated that marrying Burale was her biggest regret in life a statement that quickly went viral.
Many netizens accused Alex of setting up Burale since he had hosted the motivational speaker just a week before interviewing his sister.
During a later appearance on TV47, Alex Mwakideu clarified that the timing of the interviews was purely coincidental.

He revealed that he didn’t even know what his sister planned to say and that it was netizens who had requested her side of the story after Burale’s episode.
“Kwa nini nifanye hivyo?” Alex joked when asked if he intentionally set up Burale. He added that he initially didn’t want to host his sister but decided to invite her due to public demand.
Moving Forward
Rozinah’s recent remarks appear to be an effort to calm the storm and redirect the conversation toward positivity and healing.
She emphasised that she and Burale have both moved on with their lives and that there is no animosity between them.
Her statement has drawn support from fans who praised her for taking the high road and choosing peace over controversy.

Others, however, noted that the timing of her clarification shows how quickly social media can twist personal stories into public drama.
As the dust settles, Rozinah Mwakideu’s message serves as a reminder of the importance of speaking one’s truth while maintaining compassion — especially in a digital era where private pain can easily become public conversation.
