Popular biker and influencer Brayo Biker, also known as Biker Nairobi, has responded to online backlash after a viral video showed him riding his motorbike into a church during a service.
The incident sparked mixed reactions across social media, with many debating whether the act was appropriate within a place of worship.
Acknowledging Different Beliefs
In a statement shared on his Facebook page, Brayo addressed the controversy, acknowledging that religion is a sensitive topic and emphasising respect for people’s diverse beliefs and backgrounds.
“I’ve been reading the comments and I understand that religion is a sensitive topic. We all come from different backgrounds and hold different beliefs and I truly respect that,” he wrote.
“It Wasn’t My Intention to Offend Anyone”
Brayo clarified that he did not intend to offend or disrespect anyone by riding into the church, explaining that he was asked to bring his bike inside.
“Some people felt a certain way about me being asked to ride my bike into church. Personally, I didn’t see anything wrong with it, but if it came across as offensive or disrespectful to anyone, please know that wasn’t my intention,” he stated.

He further explained that this was not the first time his bike had been in a church, adding that when he first bought it, it was prayed for, and that similar gestures of faith had occurred before.
“When I first bought it, they prayed for me and just recently, a lady even stopped and prayed for me on the side of the road while I was on it,” he said, adding that moments like these remind him that “faith shows up in many ways.”
Promoting Love and Understanding
Brayo concluded his statement by calling for unity, peace, and mutual respect among people of differing views.
“As Biker Nairobi, I’ve always believed in love, peace, and understanding even when we don’t see things the same way. My heart is in the right place, and I pray that we continue to respect and accommodate one another, no matter our differences.”

The incident has continued to spark debate online. Some fans defended Brayo’s actions, saying his intentions were pure and symbolic, while others argued that the move disrespected the sanctity of the church.
Despite the criticism, Brayo’s calm and reflective response has earned him praise from many for handling the situation with maturity and grace.
