Radio host and content creator Alex Mwakideuhas spoken out following widespread speculation that he intentionally set up Robert Buraleduring a recent episode of his podcast, which featured his sister and Burale’s ex-wife, Rozinah Mwakideu.
The controversy erupted after Rozinah’s blunt comments about her past marriage to the popular pastor and motivational speaker, sparking debate and criticism online.
Alex Responds to the Accusations
In a follow-up interview with TV47, Alex finally addressed the allegations, maintaining that there was no setup or hidden agenda behind the two episodes. Responding humorously to the question, he said:
“Kwa nini nifanye hivyo?”

He went on to clarify that he didn’t even want to host his sister initially, but after Burale’s episode, fans flooded his comment section urging him to invite Rozinah to share her side of the story.
According to Alex, he simply responded to public demand and had no idea that Rozinah would make such strong statements about her ex-husband.

How It All Started
The conversation began innocently when Alex hosted Robert on his podcast. During the interview, Alex asked Burale about the reason behind the end of his marriage to Rozinah.
Burale responded calmly, explaining that although their union had not worked out, they had managed to remain on good terms even after the divorce.
A week later, however, Alex hosted his sister Rozinah on the same platform and her version of events told a completely different story.
In the now-viral interview, Rozinah openly stated that “marrying Burale is my biggest regret in life.”
Her candid admission quickly gained traction online, with netizens accusing Alex of setting up Buraleby bringing his ex-wife on the show soon after his appearance.
The timing, many argued, seemed deliberate since Alex and Rozinah are siblings.

Fans React to the Family Podcast Saga
The two back-to-back interviews have dominated social media, with fans split over Alex’s intentions. Some accused him of exploiting a personal family matter for content, while others defended him, arguing that he was just doing his job as a host giving both parties a platform to speak.
The situation has also reignited public discussions around Burale’s past relationshipsand his long-standing openness about divorce, faith, and self-growth.
“No Malice, Just Honest Conversations”
Despite the online noise, Mwakideu maintains that his goal is to createa platform for truth and open dialogue not drama.

He emphasised that the viral sequence was never planned to embarrass or target Burale, describing it as an “unexpected twist” that came from hosting two individuals with naturally contrasting perspectives.
