South African rapper and media personalityNadia Nakai has made it clear that she is turning a new page when it comes to her love life.
The award-winning musician revealed that she has no intention of dating another rapper in an instagram video clip—or anyone in the entertainment industry—ever again.
“I would not date another rapper or anyone in the industry ever again. I want to have a private relationship,” Nadia said, emphasising her desire to keep her personal affairs away from public scrutiny.
For many fans, Nadia’s declaration is deeply tied to her past relationship with the late rapper Kiernan Forbes, popularly known as AKA.
Their romance, which became public in 2022, quickly made headlines across South Africa and beyond. The couple was open about their love, frequently sharing pictures, travelling together, and even performing at the same events.
Their relationship, however, was cut short in February 2023 when AKA was tragically shot outside a restaurant in Durban. His passing sent shockwaves across the music industry, leaving Nadia devastated.
