Content creator Ruth K has addressed some of the persistent rumours surrounding her life following her dramatic fallout with comedian Mulamwah.

The mother of one has long been accused of walking away from her relationship under the influence of friends — an allegation she firmly denies.

Speaking in a TikTok interview, Ruth appeared slightly anxious as she fielded personal questions. Interestingly, many viewers claimed the interviewer’s voice sounded strikingly similar to Mulamwah’s, fuelling further speculation.

Asked about the wildest rumour she had ever heard about herself, she responded without hesitation: “That it is friends who made me leave my marriage.”

Ruth went on to share that, had she not been in the public eye, she would likely be running her own business or working as a teacher.

She described motherhood as her greatest accomplishment, crediting her son as her biggest source of pride.

However, the interview came to an abrupt end when she was asked which embarrassing moment she would like to erase from the internet — a question that prompted her to leave.

Opening Up About Love, Motherhood, and Celibacy

This isn’t the first time Ruth has shared openly with her followers. In August 2025, she held a candid Q&A on YouTube, reflecting on her past relationship with Mulamwah, the birth of their son, and her journey since.

She revealed that she had never truly felt unconditional love from a man until the arrival of her son, Calvin. “I didn’t know that a man can truly love you like your son. I’ve experienced both. But a man who will love you truly is your son,” she said.

Now almost two years old, Calvin remains the centre of her joy and the deepest bond in her life.

Ruth also spoke about her decision to embrace celibacy, revealing she has been practising it for five months.

She credited this choice with giving her clarity, focus, and a stronger spiritual connection. “Celibacy is the best thing you can ever practise… I’m a proud girl, I’m proud of myself. It’s not easy, but you sacrifice for the sake of a good future,” she explained.

Despite the challenges of her past, Ruth remains hopeful about love. She told her fans she is open to falling in love again — but this time with wisdom.

“Why not, guys? Why not?” she said, adding that she is praying for the right partner and a genuine, lasting connection.
