The primary reasons cited by respondents paint a clear picture of public dissatisfaction, overwhelmingly centered on economic hardship.

The high cost of living is the most pressing concern by a large margin, with 66% of those surveyed pointing to it as a top reason.

This is followed by unemployment at 30%. Other major issues include poor governance and the perception that the Social Health Insurance Fund/Social Health Authority (SHIF/SHA) is not working, both tied at 15%.

Rampant corruption in the country is also a significant factor, registering at 14%.

Rounding out the top concerns are ongoing challenges in the education sector (11%), poverty (8%), extra-judicial killings (7%), poor infrastructure (6%), and a lack of national cohesion (5%).

These figures underscore the urgent need for addressing economic and governance issues to restore public confidence.
