Probe on after body of missing minor found in thicket in Saboti, Trans Nzoia

The child had been missing for three days before his body was discovered by locals on Tuesday.

Police said the body had multiple physical injuries, including a chopped genital organ, while the head had been hit with a blunt object.

The motive of the murder is yet to be established. Police said they believe the man was killed and the body dumped at the scene.

A team of detectives visited the scene and announced they had launched investigations into the murder.

No arrest has been made so far, and efforts to identify the man were ongoing, police added.
