The Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the Local Organising Committee (LOC) in Morocco have officially launched the Volunteer Programme for the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025.
They are seeking around 4,000 volunteers to support the continent’s premier sporting event.
The AFCON tournament itself is scheduled to run between 21 December 2025 and 18 January 2026. The competition will be staged across six cities and nine stadiums throughout Morocco.
CAF announced the opening of applications on Friday, 19 September 2025.

The recruitment drive for volunteers is open right now. Those wishing to apply must do so by the deadline of 8 October 2025.
To be eligible for the volunteer programme, applicants must be over the age of 18.

What Volunteers Will Do
Volunteers are expected to play a key role in ensuring smooth operations, both on and off the pitch.
The selected volunteers, numbering around 4,000, will support various functional areas of the competition. These crucial roles include media operations and accreditation.
Volunteers will also assist with hospitality, spectator services, and fans’ welcome and support.
Training and Lasting Legacy
The programme offers successful applicants several benefits. Volunteers will receive official uniforms and certificates of participation.

Ahead of the tournament, selected volunteers will receive comprehensive training within their assigned functional areas.
