Presenter Ali, the popular YouTuber and forex trader, has finally addressed the speculation that has been swirling around his marriage to his wife, Medina.

The rumours began after he unfollowed her on Instagram and remained silent during her recent birthday.

In a recent interview, Ali quickly dismissed the gossip, stating that unfollowing someone on social media is not the same as ending a relationship.

"Honestly, it is not only her that I have unfollowed. For me, following someone means keeping up with their life and content. When that no longer aligns with me, I unfollow. It has nothing to do with breaking up—I just wanted my own space," he explained.

A Conscious Choice

Ali explained that his actions were part of a wider effort to filter the content he consumes online. He believes social media often creates unhealthy comparisons and distractions, and he prefers to follow accounts that help with his personal growth.

He also pointed out that he has never followed Medina on Facebook or subscribed to her YouTube channel, adding, "Kenyans exaggerate these things."

The YouTuber insisted that a couple's issues should be handled privately, away from the public. Speaking partly in Kiswahili, he stressed that it is a couple's responsibility to make their relationship work, not that of "outsiders." He urged fans to focus on their own lives rather than his.

"I think it is time people started focusing on their own lives. Focus on me as a content creator and as a forex trader—that will give you more value than digging into my personal life," he concluded.

More Than Just an Unfollow

For Presenter Ali, this situation was less about marital discord and more about setting a personal boundary in the digital world.

His decision highlights the growing trend of people consciously curating their online feeds to protect their mental health and personal space.
