Tension appears to be simmering in the public eye after Fahima popularly known as Fahy Vanny  issued a blistering message aimed at her baby's father, Tanzanian artist Raymond Shaban Mwakyusa, better known as Rayvanny.

In a post that circulated on social media, Fahima warned she could expose intimate details of their relationship if provoked, and made it clear she feels disrespected despite her role as the mother of his child.

In her message Fahima wrote in Swahili: “Wenye bwana yenu mwambieni mwanaume wenu asinitumie message mimi nitamchakaza. Unakaa upo busy kunitafutia sababu, unataka tuwe na mzani sawa. Wewe una matendo hadi shetani anakuogopa. Nikisema niyaweke matendo yako hapa, dunia itakushangaa. Hakuna mtu anaweza kukusogelea maana wewe sio binadamu wa kawaida, wewe niache usinitafute. Kwani lazima kuwa na mimi? Siutafute wengine achana na mimi maana vita yangu hutoiweza. Ushukuru tu nakupa heshima, nakuhifadhi kwasababu ya hiki kiume (mtoto) basi bile hivyo wewe ungejuta.”

Roughly translated, Fahima accuses Rayvanny of messaging her inappropriately and behaving in ways she finds shocking, so much so that she claims even the devil would be afraid of his deeds.

She warns that if she were to publish his actions publicly, the world would be surprised. Fahima also stresses that no one should approach him because, in her words, “you are not an ordinary human,” and insists she’s been respectful and protective of him for the sake of their child.

The exchange underlines a familiar pattern in celebrity relationships where private disputes rapidly become public debates.

Fahima’s statement mixes anger, wounded pride and a protective posture over the child they share, a combination that often draws intense reaction across fans and followers. For Rayvanny, who has built a high-profile career in East African music, such controversy risks dominating headlines and diverting attention from his work.

Observers on social media were quick to react, split between supporters of Fahima’s right to speak out and those calling for discretion given the child involved.

Relationships between public figures and their partners are complicated by fame’s glare; once intimate disagreements become public, the stakes rise emotionally, legally and reputationally.

At this point, the comments come from Fahima’s side and are unverified allegations; neither Rayvanny nor his representatives have issued a public response to the message quoted above.

Whatever follows, one thing is clear: when family, fame and accusations mix, the fallout can be loud and, as Fahima herself warns, potentially very public.
