Celebrity barber Kitiki Sam is facing a heartbreaking reality. He's battling a rare and serious form of cancer called Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumour (GIST) and has been left to fight it alone.

He revealed on social media that many of the people he once considered close friends have abandoned him.

The Physical Toll

In his latest update, Kitiki posted a photo showing how much the illness has changed him. He was once known for his muscular build, but the disease has caused him to lose a drastic amount of weight and muscle.

Kitiki first shared his diagnosis months ago, appealing to his followers for financial help. His medical bills had already climbed to around KSh 1 million.

The Deeper Pain

While the physical effects are clear, Kitiki says the emotional pain has been the hardest part. He admitted that the greatest wound has come from the people who have disappeared from his life.

"What cuts even deeper than the pain of illness is the silence of family and friends I once called my own...The loneliness is louder than the disease itself."

Choosing Resilience

Despite the heartbreak, Kitiki has chosen to focus on his own strength. He's reminding himself that his worth isn't defined by who stays or who walks away.
