The Stars dominated from the first whistle, with Ryan Ogam opening the scoring in the 7th minute.

The striker rose highest to head in Duke Abuya’s delivery, setting the tone for a commanding evening. Collins Sichenje doubled the lead in the 35th minute, also from a header, before Ogam struck again three minutes later to make it 3–0.
On the stroke of half-time, captain Michael Olunga calmly converted a penalty to put Kenya 4–0 up. The talisman returned in the 67th minute to complete his brace with another header, sealing a comfortable victory.

The result gave the Stars a clean sheet and a morale boost after their 3–1 defeat to Gambia, which had ended hopes of reaching the 2026 World Cup.
The line-up included Bwire, Sichenje, S. Owino, R. Onyango, Manzur, Onyango, Abuya, Lenkupae, Olunga, Ogam, and Job.
The Harambee Stars picked their second win in the World Cup Qualifiers as Seychelles keeps searching for their first points in the qualifiers.
