Ugandan music legend Jose Chameleone is set to light up Eldoret as he headlines the much-anticipated Baniyas Square 2nd Anniversary Festival, with his full live band performance scheduled for Sunday, September 7th, 2025.
Known across Africa for his timeless hits and electrifying stage presence, Chameleone’s act will mark the grand finale of a four-day celebration that has already positioned Eldoret as the go-to party destination this September.
Running from September 4th to 7th, 2025, the anniversary bash-fittingly themed “Sherehe Ni Sheria,” is set to transform Baniyas Square into a cultural hotspot, bringing together a star-studded lineup of East Africa’s most celebrated musicians alongside Kenya’s top DJs.

The festival promises unforgettable live performances from Bien, Femi One, Mejja, and, of course, Jose Chameleone, with each artist bringing their signature style and anthems to a world-class stage complete with booming sound, immersive lighting, and nonstop energy.
To keep the beats flowing, Baniyas Square has assembled an A-list DJ roster like no other. Partygoers will dance to the decks of DJ Joe Mfalme, DJ Grauchi, DJ Kym Nickdee, DJ Alecky, DJ Crème De La Crème, DJ Double Trouble, and DJ Gibbz—making it one of the biggest gatherings of Kenyan DJs under one roof.
And with hype masters MC Nick The Trend and MC Emmah steering the energy across all four nights, the crowd is guaranteed to stay on its feet until the very last beat drops.

Here’s how the festival will unfold:
Thursday, Sept 4 – Opening night with Femi One and Mejja, supported by DJ Joe Mfalme, DJ Alecky, Tinaling, and MC Nick The Trend.
Friday, Sept 5 – Heavy mixes from DJ Gibbz Tha Daqchild and DJ Crème De La Crème.
Saturday, Sept 6 – A major highlight as Bien takes the stage for his “ALUSA CONTINUA” Tour, joined by DJ Kym Nickdee and Ruffest DJ Moh.
Sunday, Sept 7 – The grand finale with Jose Chameleone, closing the festival in style with Ugandan flavor and unforgettable classics.

In a statement, Baniyas Square said:
“The East Africa Tour lands at Baniyas Square this Friday, 6th Sept, from 5 PM, and it’s about to be a LIVE CONCERT EXPERIENCE like no other! Bien – Performing his chart-topping hits LIVE. Full concert setup with world-class sound & lighting.”
Beyond the music, the 2nd Anniversary Festival is a celebration of Eldoret’s rise as a cultural hub, drawing in revelers from across Kenya and beyond to share in four nights of music, dance, and memories that will last a lifetime.
