Coast-based singer Brown Mauzo has admitted he still has feelings for his estranged wife, socialite Vera Sidika, despite their highly publicised split.
The revelation came after Mauzo shared a cryptic post online, prompting netizens to reminisce about the days he and Vera were a couple.
One follower wrote, “Indeed, you both have beautiful kids, but I don’t understand why people can’t create and maintain good families together. Love issues can be complicated.”
The comments quickly spiralled, with fans urging him to reunite with the mother of his two children. Mauzo eventually responded, confessing: “I wish I could because I still love her so much.”
A Confession of Lingering Love
His candid remark reignited online chatter, with some fans sympathising with him while others mocked his longing for what they described as “soft life” with Vera.
Among the reactions were: @mtwapa_finest_gallore: “Mauzo ame miss soft life.” @lincoln_n_w: “Umemiss soft life sindio Father Abraham.” @mollie_selina: “Na si huyu Brown Mauzo alikuwa amemove on?” @hanan_chichi_: “It’s Vera, how could anyone get over her?”

The Midnight Call Drama
The confession comes just days after a fresh round of drama between the exes. Mauzo had earlier claimed that one of his baby mamas one of his baby mamas often drunk-dials him at 1 a.m., sparking speculation that he was referring to Vera.
But Vera wasted no time clapping back. In a fiery Instagram post, she dismissed the allegations, insisting she neither drinks nor engages in such behaviour.
“Even in a relationship, I wouldn’t call my boyfriend at that hour. Drunk-calling and complaining? Absolutely not. I don’t drink alcohol, I’m responsible and mature,” she wrote.
She further accused bloggers of unfairly dragging her name into the matter, pointing out that Mauzo has several baby mamas and the comments could have been about anyone.

A Stern Warning from Vera
The mother of two, who has long maintained financial independence, also issued a sharp warning to her ex.
“Please keep my name out of your mouth. I have never needed anything from Brown. I take care of my kids, I am good. If you are trying to look for clout, this is not the place, Brown, because you know me—I’ve got receipts and I can expose you,” Vera cautioned.

No Chance of Reconciliation
This is not the first time Vera has publicly dismissed any possibility of rekindling her relationship with Mauzo.
In a past Q&A with fans, she bluntly said: “Oh babe, that will never happen. Respectfully.” Despite Mauzo’s lingering feelings, Vera appears firm in her decision to keep their relationship in the past.
