Following a triumphant international debut with two sold-out shows in Reading and Luton, UK, celebrated comedian Auntie Jemimah is set to bring her hit vernacular stand-up showcase Maitu Múkabete back home for its third edition.

The much-anticipated event will be staged on Saturday, 30th August 2025, at the KICC Tsavo Ballroom in Nairobi.

Directed by award-winning filmmaker Philip Karanja, popularly known as Director Phil, Maitu Múkabete 3 promises more than just an evening of comedy.

It is positioned as a full-fledged cultural experience—one that embraces identity, heritage, and women’s voices in the creative industry while cementing humor as a tool for cultural diplomacy.
