“Vijana sasa story inakukata maji, itabaki tumeachia Nairobi yote hiyo kazi sasa... ati saa hii hata sherehe ukienda uzime, wanakufanya forex by force,” he warns, half-laughing, half-concerned.

The clip taps into the ongoing social media storm around forex trading culture in Kenya. In recent months, young traders have been accused—often jokingly, sometimes seriously—of using shady or “unsavoury” methods to make quick money.
