According to the Global Peace Index 2025, produced by the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP), Europe remains the most peaceful region with an average score of 1.49.

North America follows at 1.83, while Sub-Saharan Africa records 2.31.

South Asia scores 2.42, and the Middle East & North Africa ranks lowest at 2.65.

The scoring scale ranges from 1 (most peaceful) to 5 (least peaceful).
