Amber Ray's House Revamp Fuels New Breakup Speculation

Veteran socialite Amber Ray has once again found herself at the centre of speculation after sharing a series of videos that hinted at a major revamp of her home, including selling off household items.

For weeks, rumours have circulated online suggesting that Amber and her husband, businessman Kennedy Rapudo, may no longer be together.

The chatter gained traction after fans noted a reduced presence of the couple in each other’s social media posts—a sharp contrast to their usual public displays of affection.

Adding fuel to the speculation, Amber recently posted a video showcasing her empty living space, explaining that she was in the process of giving her home a facelift.

In another clip shared via Instagram Stories, she advertised office furniture believed to have been from Rapudo’s workspace.

“Today, we officially started the house revamp. Posting now because today has been one crazy day. Selling this office desk plus the chair at KSh 30,000,” she captioned.

The items, which included a large office table with multiple charging points, speakers, and a television, were shown being moved out of the house.

These posts came just days after Amber proudly unveiled a brand-new Range Rover, which she revealed she had gifted herself.

While many fans congratulated her on the purchase, others linked the timing of her self-celebration and house changes to the persistent breakup rumours.

Rapudo Responds to Speculation

Kennedy Rapudo, however, has strongly denied suggestions that his marriage is on the rocks. Addressing the matter on Instagram, he dismissed the claims as “nonsense” and urged friends and followers not to worry.

“I’ve been getting calls and messages from friends worried about the gossip online, but let me say this once—there’s nothing to worry about,” he wrote in a black-and-white text post on his Stories.

Rapudo also criticised online gossipers, describing the internet as “a playground for empty debes shouting nonsense for attention.”

He accused rumour-mongers of creating lies to drive clickbait and suggested that the couple’s decision to keep aspects of their relationship private had unsettled critics.

“None of it is true, none of it matters, and I won’t even break a sweat addressing it. Idlers will stay idlers,” he added.
