Ugandan musician Weasel has been discharged from Nsambya Hospital after receiving treatment. The singer had allegedly been knocked down by his wife Sandra Tate at a parking lot after an alleged argument outside a club in Kampala.

In a statement shared on his social media platforms, the Goodlyfe Crew singer expressed gratitude to fans for their support during his hospital stay.

“Thank y’all for keeping me in your prayers. We will be back stronger and better, Inshallah,” he wrote, assuring supporters of his recovery.

Weasel also paid tribute to the medical team that attended to him. “Thank you to the amazing doctors and nurses at Nsambya Hospital for your incredible work and dedication to our community. Your service is truly appreciated,” he added.

The singer, who has been a key figure in East Africa’s music scene for over a decade, is now expected to take some time to rest before resuming his musical activities.

Prior to his discharge, Weasel announced that he had been undergoing surgery.
