Ugandan singer Weasel Manizo has expressed heartfelt gratitude to his fans, family, and friends for their unwavering support following his recent accident.

In a statement shared with the public, the Goodlyfe Crew star revealed that despite the challenges he has faced, he is in good spirits and preparing for surgery as part of his journey to full recovery.

"A Heartfelt Thank You from Yours truly. To our dear friends, family, and fans."

“We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the outpouring of love and well-wishes,” Weasel said, noting that the messages, prayers, and kind gestures have been a source of strength for him and his family during this difficult time.

"Despite the challenges, my family and I are doing well, and I am on the road to surgery and full recovery. We would like to extend our sincerest appreciation for the kindness and support shown to us during this time. Your thoughts, prayers, and messages have meant the world to us, and we are grateful for your love and care."

The singer assured supporters that he is determined to “bounce back stronger and better” and looks forward to reconnecting with his fans once he is fully healed.

Weasel’s statement comes as fans across East Africa continue to send prayers and encouragement to the artist, whose music career spans over a decade and includes numerous hits and collaborations.

The Ugandan police had been holding the singer's wife, Sandra Teta for allegedly, intentionally  knocking the singer down with car at a parking lot after an alleged argument.

The police said the altercation happened at a bar in Kampala. The car was impounded and is at a police station.
