Today, Nigerian singer Davido Adeleke will be walking down the aisle with Chioma Rowland at a white wedding in Miami, USA.
The afrobeats icon has revealed the jaw-dropping cost of this white wedding to wife Chioma, a staggering $3.7 million (over KSh 480 million).
The Assurance hitmaker made the disclosure while chatting with friends ahead of the highly anticipated celebration. He emphasized that the extravagant budget was intentional, with the aim of delivering an unforgettable experience for their guests.
“We’ve spent $3.7 million in cash. We know exactly what we’re doing, we’re going all out,” Davido remarked, hinting at the opulence awaiting attendees.
The festivities, branded Chivido 2025, began in style with a Havana Night-themed pre-wedding party. The star-studded guest list included Zlatan, Adekunle Gold, B-Red, Davido’s sister Sharon, and his brother Adewale Adeleke.
Videos circulating online showed Chioma dazzling in a chic white cut-out mini dress, while Davido kept it laid-back in a casual ensemble topped with a cowboy hat.
The couple touched down in Miami on Wednesday, August 6, alongside family, close friends, and their team, to finalize wedding preparations.
This lavish affair follows their grand traditional wedding in Lagos in June 2024, dubbed “Wedding of the Year.” That ceremony drew political leaders such as the Governors of Lagos and Osun, the Ooni of Ife, business magnates, and a host of celebrities.
During the traditional rites, Davido assured Chioma’s parents of his commitment to protect, honor, and cherish their daughter, vows he now seems ready to seal in spectacular fashion in Miami.
